1. Services

Aspen Root Editing provides professional editing services including copyediting, line editing, proofreading, and sample edits. All services are provided based on mutual agreement prior to project start.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While every effort is made to improve clarity and quality, editing does not guarantee publication, acceptance, or specific results. Final responsibility for content remains with the client.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate and complete materials, communicate expectations clearly, and review edited content before final use.

4. Confidentiality

All client materials will be treated as confidential and will not be shared without permission.

5. Intellectual Property

Clients retain full ownership of their content. Aspen Root Editing does not claim ownership over edited materials.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate a project. Client pays for work completed up to termination. Any unused portion of prepaid work may be refunded at discretion.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
